THE JUNIOR TEAM GO&FUN MOTO3 HEADS TO THE RIVIERA IN HIGH SPIRITS

The Junior Team GO & FUN Moto3 is ready to receive the warm welcome of the home crowd at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, which will host this weekend the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix. An event even more special for the two young riders of the team, Niccolò Antonelli and Enea Bastianini, who live a few kilometers from the track.Fresh from two consecutive podium finishes, Bastianini will try to extend his positive streak, despite the fracture of the heel of the right foot is still not completely healed. An injury that, however, has not prevented him to lead the race for several laps at Silverstone, going very close to his first win.Even his teammate, Niccolò Antonelli, is going through a positive period: quick in qualifying both at Brno and Silverstone, having obtained both occasions the first row of the grid, the 18-year-old rider from Cattolica will try to stay in the fight for the top positions also in Sunday’s race.
NICCOLO' ANTONELLI “I'm very motivated, because we come from two races where we have been very fast, even though actually I didn’t picked up what I wanted in the race and this is a bit annoying. The goal for Misano is to be even more fast and even more focused on the race, during which I will give 100% to get a good result in front of my home crowd”.
ENEA BASTIANINI “The Misano circuit is only about ten kilometers from my home and of course I can’t wait to race! I’m fresh from two consecutive podiums that honestly I didn’t expect, because I was not in perfect physical condition, although there is kind of a bitter taste after Silverstone, because I’ve been very close to the victory! The home Grand Prix is always a special feeling and it would be nice to be able to fight again to win, but we will know it only on Sunday… However, it will be important to not get caught with emotion because there will be many people watching us!”.
FAUSTO GRESINI “We’re through an exciting period, having achieved a good competitiveness last time out with both Enea and Niccolò: the bikes are going well and the team is very strong, so we have everything to be at the top also in Misano. The home atmosphere will probably give us a bit more pressure, but we hope to be able to transform it into positive energy. At the moment, however, for us the podium is the minimum target”.
