JUNIOR TEAM GO&FUN MOTO3 CAMPAIGN RESUMES AT HISTORIC INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines: the Junior Team GO&FUN Moto3 will be back on track this weekend for the tenth round of the season at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the famous Indy 500 automobile race.Following the injury on his right collarbone, sustained during a training session last July 23rd, Niccolò Antonelli is still determined to do his best: the 18-year-old rider from Cattolica, who has successfully undergone a surgery conducted by Dr. Giuseppe Porcellini last July 24th to repair the fracture, has been able to make a good rehabilitation program and will race in the United States, even though he will better assess his physical condition only once he will ride, on Friday morning during the first free practice session. After a first half of the season above all expectations, rookie Enea Bastianini trained hard over the summer break to face the second half of the season even more prepared: the 16-year-old rider from Rimini will re-start the game from the 46 points collected so far, despite the unlucky races in Assen and Sachsenring. NICCOLO' ANTONELLI “After the surgery, last Monday, July 28th, I immediately started the rehabilitation and the therapy is progressing well: however, it’s clear that in Indianapolis I won’t be at one hundred percent physically. However, it’s difficult to evaluate it now: I will understand it better when I will ride my bike. Apart from that, I saw that the track has been modified in some areas and that’s positive, because now it appears smoother to ride and therefore more enjoyable compared to last year”. ENEA BASTIANINI “I can’t wait to get back in the saddle: the summer break was long and it it's been hard for me to stay away from my bike! I trained a lot, even in the gym, to get well prepared when the championship resumes: in Indianapolis first of all we must try to learn the track well, then we'll see if we can be fast there too. The first part of the season has been fantastic, with great races such as Mugello and my first podium finish in Barcelona; in the second half of the season, however, we will continue to keep our feet firmly on the ground, looking for a step by step progress, trying to learn from the best riders, as always”.FAUSTO GRESINI “We are going to resume our 2014 campaign after a first half of a season marked by lights and shadows: on the one hand, Niccolò definitely got results below the expectations, and in addition the collarbone injury suffered during the summer break complicates things ahead of the Indianapolis race. On the other hand, Enea learned quickly, getting his first podium after a few races. In the USA we start another important period of our season, in which we hope that our efforts can finally turn into good results, because we were a bit unlucky in the last few races”.
