Fourth day in a row of sunshine at the Le Mans circuit, framed Andrea Iannone too short race.
Andrea Iannone - Pramac Racing - crashes during the second lap and finishes the race in advance. The bad luck during the race continues for the Pramac Racing Team rider that earlier today had a great warm up finishing in second place. The rider from Vasto does another excellent start gaining five positions on the first lap. In the first moments of the race Andrea has a contact with the former Ducati rider Nicky Hayden, who has the worst out of it, and crashes. Finished the first lap Iannone continues to push to gain other positions, but crashes before concluding the second sector of the French track. Now in the Pramac Racing garage they are already thinking about the next race which will take place in the home circuit of Mugello, in late May.
Andrea Iannone (Pramac Racing) "Unfortunately I crashed on the second lap, I'm sorry i didn’t finish this race as well. It was very important for me to finish this race after Jerez. I am also sorry for the contact I had with Nicky, that fell, didn't see him because he was behind me. In addition, during the contact I completely destroyed my boot, it would have been difficult in any case to finish the race because the boot was completely open. In two weeks we will be at Mugello, a track that I particularly like and where I had the opportunity to test the Ducati before coming here in France. "Published on : May 17 2014
