Team GO&FUN Honda Gresini rider Alvaro Bautista will start the Catalan Grand Prix from the second row of the grid tomorrow after an excellent qualifying performance this afternoon. The Spanish rider was determin ed to put on a show for his fans and he more than lived up to their expectations with the fourth fastest lap of an entertaining qualifying session. Bryan Staring made some progress with the CRT bike but not enough to make up positions.
The colours of Team GO&FUN Gresini Moto3 will be present on the third and sixth rows of the grid in tomorrow's Catalan Grand Prix after Niccolò Antonelli and Lorenzo Baldassarri qualified ninth and eighteenth fastest respectively. Niccolò struggled a little bit with the high track temperatures this afternoon but his pace was good in the morning free practice, which is a good sign for a race that gets underway at 11am. Baldassarri's only regret was that he couldn't be more decisive in the final moments of the session but both riders remain optimistic of a positive result tomorrow.Published on : Jun 14 2013
