FREE PRACTICE AT JEREZ

MOTOGP:Alvaro Bautista is targeting improved rear traction tomorrow after struggling for grip on the opening day of the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez. The gap to the pacesetters on the opening day is definitely within his reach and the potential is there for a strong race from the Spaniard. Bryan Staring had similar problems with his CRT machine as he continues to adapt to the demands of MotoGP.

MOTO3: Niccolò Antonelli made a positive start to the weekend at Jerez, clocking the seventh fastest time on the opening day of free practice. The Team GO&FUN Gresini Moto3 youngster took the track in determined mood following his disappointment in the opening two rounds of the season in Qatar and Austin and he finished the day as the top Italian. His team-mate Lorenzo Baldassarri is still looking to improve his confidence with the bike in just his third Grand Prix.
