With Alvaro Bautista sixth place and Bryan Staring narrowly outside the points in sixteenth it was a positive day for Team GO&FUN Honda Gresini at the Spanish Grand Prix. Bautista struggled for rear traction, as he has all weekend, but fought bravely to maintain his qualifying positions whilst Staring confirmed his progress with his best result of the season so far.

Niccolò Antonelli's high hopes for the Spanish Grand Prix came to nothing in the end after a crash left him without points for the third race in succession. His team-mate Lorenzo Baldassarri fought bravely to finish the race after a crash yesterday left him nursing a shoulder injury.
